It's also a fact that my job entails me going to customers houses, all over North East Ohio. I have to drive an average of 100 miles or so a day. I also have a wife and 2 year old son, and we all need to eat and keep bills paid. Yes, I am aware of the irony of it, but I also cannot do my job on a bike, with cable modems and equipment in a backpack, showing up all sweaty on a bike. =] Because I am tied to my car doesn't mean I can't be opposed to the fact that people are dying to let me keep driving it.
If it makes any difference, I just bought a new bike, mainly to try and get back in shape. I'd like to use it more on those little errands around town to replace the car when possible. My wife yelled at me when she saw the recipt. I had to tell her that was actually on the cheap end...
