Reviewing books, etc. sounds interesting. However, when I access the "Reviews" link in your message, I get:

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'Y')ou are trying to access a restricted area.
We are Sorry but this section of our site is for Subscribed Users Only.

Is it really necessary that one subscribe to the newsletter in order to enter a review? (I don't subscribe because I don't want more junk sent to my email box.)

Correction -- not junk

Oops. In the previous post, I didn't mean anything negative about the Newsletter:

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'I') don't want more junk sent to my email box

I'd just rather go to a site itself for information, rather than have it automatically fill up my email.

Well we don't have a newsletter so...

I'm confused then.

When I try to access the "Reviews" section, I continue to get messages saying that the section is only for Subscribed Users.

I tried changing the information on the "My Account" page, checking the box to subscribe to the newsletter (even though there is no newsletter). No dice. I still can't get in.

Conclusions:
1. There is a secret way to become a Subscribed User that I don't know about.
OR...
2. There is a setting in the site software that is mis-set, so that people can't access the "Reviews" page.

Thanks for any enlightenment!
