I have given it somemore thought and I dont think there will be a "peak". It will probably be more of a bumpy platue as some nations oil reserves decline and others get pressured to boost production further. Environmental reserves will probably get tapped like the ANWR and other coastal areas as I said in a previous post. There are still a few places that need to come online or whos full production potential hasnt been exploited : Caspian sea area, Iraq, Libia, Sudan, West Africa. All largely for political rather then geological reasons. Other areas that might have alot of oil to be discovered still that I was thinking of are the Siberain coastal areas, Eastern Russia, the north western coast of Canada. Correct me if I am wrong about any of these specific areas or nations.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('jato', 'M')y guess=Peak Oil will be in 4th quarter 2005. However, the peak oil event may not be confirmed by the data until well into 2006 or 2007.

Oopsy for Jato! A hysterically funny guess that all us future people are sitting around laughing our assess off about.

A more important question would be....what most suckered you in 2005 into falling for the pigswill you were being spoon fed by the oil and gas ignorant?
