You're getting confused. Monetary action such as you suggest has always led to collapse, but aside from that our problem isn't a fiscal one, it's a resource one. Rome collapsed and we entered the Dark Ages due to resource depletion, food and slaves. OIL is our resource and since nothing can replace it a collapse is guaranteed. This is Peak Oil .com, not Peak Money .com But since the collapse has been slow and drawn out many people have been convinced Oil isn't an issue. It's the only issue.

Of course. That will be the collapse though, no more supermarket deliveries, no more water treatment or sewage removal or electricity distribution. All these are funded by the 99% are they not. I can't see the "elites" providing these modern services for free can you?

There were plenty of wealthy people after Rome fell, they went with the scattering, or were ahead of it. They had rural enclaves far away in Spain and France etc. Just like today's elites have.

This is why the 99% reject peak oil, even here! They are always looking for a "fix" because to accept the reality would be to admit they going into a shanty town, at best. So they believe in solar power and hydrogen and Lipos, anything to keep them from going hungry.
There are plenty of White South Africans now living in shanty towns with no amenities, They couldn't have dreamed of that before the nation was turned over to black rule. Probably even after in fact. O we'll be alright, they'll look after us... SA hasn't collapse either, but it's well on the way.

Financial mismanagement is just a symptom of resource depletion. Do you know what Russia's sovereign debt is? About 300 billion last I looked. Nothing, they could settle it with one years oil export. Why? They have abundant resources of course. That's why the West want's to concur them, why Germany tried in 42. They won't stop trying either, they have no other choice.

You have some properties, a nice estate, in Italy, so to speak. It might get tough there though if things go really tits-up. I suppose you've considered moving abroad but rejected the idea. It wouldn't be an easy step to take I imagine...

And it has been growing since your fake claims of the world ending because of debt going on 20 years now. As far as someone else's "fake" numbers, first you need to understand them. Can you detail at what point in the process of calculating the numbers, they decide to fake them?

Fight someone else's strawman. All kinds of things collapse. (hint hint...if you want to use sarcasm in writing...you have to be a little more obvious....it doesn't play as well as it does in person where you can roll your eyes and do little giggles to let the audience know you are just pretending to yank their chain).

Could be. But anyone who knows something about markets realizes that this particular rinse and repeat could be difficult to sustain even if it is politically viable, depending on the particulars. Anyone can make up a story to create end times. You and folks on this website have been at it for decades. Try and be more creative, learn something about markets, financial instruments and how they work, how governments use them, and how they combat scenarios like you want to advocate for from a position of having NOT done any of this learning stuff.

Alternatively, just keep being...you. Say silly things, pretend they are real, and what are you doing here? Don't you have family that might be a sucker for the bad calls and poorly informed opinions you specialize in? Go drone away at them, although I imagine it can be difficult to sell the well off on doom.

Covid hit and guess what? People used less energy. So sure, if 90% of people go bankrupt, I bet them, and the 10% that didn't, would use less energy. You really don't even know easy answers like this one? You have any dementia, ADHD, Alzheimers things going on we need to worry about? Or is this just like the same ignorance you have about evolution and whales?

Pray tell, can you tell us about those thoughts without using anything you've already claimed for 20 years that didn't cause end times? Or can you explain why your prior end times claims didn't work out, but THIS time, FINALLY, they are right around the corner?

Sounds like the Great Recession? Or maybe The Greatest Recession SInce The Great Depression 4-5 years ago? I didn't notice the 2008 one much, but I did notice the Covid one, but not for any of the obvious reasons people notice recessions. I made it through fine...did these traumatic economic events bother you in the least? Lack of brisket in the stores? Lack of fuel for your ATVs? Did the county demand you give up some acreage for a homeless encampment?

Or did REAL economic dislocation for a big chunk of Americans not bother you any more than it did me? Except I got Covid of course, adn that sucked for 2 weeks.

When the 08 crises hit, which I predicted on here, they lowered rates to zero for a decade and printed 12T to stop the crash…. Or kick the can down the road, however you want to put it.

Let’s see what they can do this time.

For my money they'll stop pretending and let it all fall in a heap. Then the great Reset, the digital money and tracking will be enforced on everyone. But it won't change the collapse, everyone will just be a lot further down the ladder, but now with a little hope, like all the other rescue packages gave them. You can't transition to a stable impoverished society without a little hope.
