What was exposed? Some shit about 9/11 and Guantanamo, about US naughtiness in Iraq?
Oh his revelations made all the difference.

A lot more, and it makes a lot of difference for the majority who are ignorant of such.

Alight, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt since you seem to know more about the subject than I do. What are some of these other issues and what differences has it made in the lives of the people? Some got arrested in the capital insurrection but that was incited by their leader trump. The only other change I see is an increased number of people moving out of the cities but I'd lay that at the feet of covid. What great differences has Wikileaks inspired?

It's like peak oil and even threads like those about Russia and Ukraine, not to mention the bulk of threads in this forum. They don't make a lot of differences in my life, but I still share them with others, and likely because they encourage me to expect a long emergency and prepare for it.

In this case, Assange allowed me not to trust governments and businesses more, even though I need to continue doing that as part of continuing to do business. I also want to see both get screwed one way or another, which is why I hope that Assange gets to expose more of what most don't know about or don't want to talk about. The same goes for Snowden, not to mention people like John Pilger and Dan Ellsberg.

fair enough, but Don't hold your breath for revelations from him now though. After what he's been through I'd assume he's retired from the project now.

The recent news about him should lead to more exposing various governments and corporations, and I think there's a lot more that's still hidden.

Oh there is a lot more still hidden, and much of it has been exposed on this forum, but it's been ignored or rejected as crackpot. When the markets collapse and the banks close their doors, all these issues raised by the 'whistleblowers' will be irrelevant, then it will be about getting food for next week and how will I pay my utilities and rates. The exact same scenario has played out in many South American nations already.

I don't think one person in a thousand is getting prepared for the collapse of the Western system, not even with the warning of the GFC and the vivid history regarding the Great Depression. As I've said before, the great depression was a financial reset, from gold to paper. It happened in a time of relative abundance, of food, of oil, of houses, of everything. The coming reset from paper to digital will be just as disruptive but in a time of want. Everything else happening in the world today is just a sideshow to distract people from what's truly important.
