spell check

Just thought I would pass on something I found.

You can get a spell check with the Google Tool Bar. 8)

I'm a spelling challenged person 8O and this really helps me out. :-D

It checks just the spelling in the area where you are posting and ignores all the other stuff on the screen. 8)

Even seems to recognize emoticons. 8)

If you are using Firefox or Mozilla, SpellBound 0.73 will be very useful for you. Just right click in the field that you wish to spell check after installation. I like it, but unfortunately I am too drunk to remember to use it sometimes. But that's a user problem, not an application problem. :)

The problem is, of course, that not only is economics bankrupt, but it has always been nothing more than politics in disguise... economics is a form of brain damage.

I stumbled on Alcoda Software and tried out their Spell Magic program, and ended up buying WordSpring. Both are available for free trial download.

Their spell checkers work in IE, Netscape, Mozilla - and notepad, wordpad etc. Any open text window they can pretty much spell check.

I use Netscape and Mozilla and have a Movable Type weblog. I wanted a program that would spell check within the Movable Type entry window and these do. WordSpring has worked great for me. It does have a conflict with Irider - if you use that browser (which I do on occasion); however, I just close WordSpring and reopen it and it works fine.

I highly recommend the programs because they operate across browsers and even in offline programs.
