Vanity Fair to Reveal More on Sibel Edmonds' Case

Unread postby Carlhole » Wed 03 Aug 2005, 21:05:33

The new issue of Vanity Fair is coming out with a major piece on FBI whistleblower Sibel Edmonds' case. The 11-page article is in the issue that hits newsstands in New York City today (Wednesday).

The article, by British journalist David Rose, promises to have new revelations beyond "the tip of the iceberg."

Edmonds, "the most gagged woman in history," is appealing to the US Supreme Court on Thursday to allow her to talk about what she knows about pre-9/11 intelligence failures.

Ditto thanks. What do people make of the fact that the two most informative and credible whistleblowers to a government coverup ,Edmonds and Indira Singh,are immigrant women?

The article didn't tell me anything I didn't know already but it seems significant that Vanity Fair, that bastion of respectable and au courant journalism, decides to do an eleven-page piece on Edmonds.

It seems to refresh the story, reminding people that secrets actually do exist; possibly a harbinger of more revelations.

The article was pretty tame, offering only a fraction of what Edmonds has claimed.

In any event, in the context of 911, what Edmonds witnessed was small potatoes.

If you are talking whistleblowers, don't forget Coleen Rowley and Sherron Watkins. Also John O'Neill, Richard Clarke, and Paul O'Neill.

Why wouldn't I forget Coolleen Rowley=everyone else has.I heard she's using her 15 minutes to run for Congress (i.e.not good enough looking for modelling I guess).Sherron Watkins is a mystery to me:what's Enron to do with 0/11? John O'Neill isn't talking of course. Clarke and Paul O'Neill ,as bureaucrats,speak in a language so loaded with entendre and innuendo that they can only serve as secondary evidence.
Edmonds and Singh have direct knowledge and were personally involved with situations intimately connected with the events of 9/11.They are talking. Their stories remain chilling. Without the benefit of publicity,by their own testimony they would be injured or worse. They are in a serious situation with serious stories.
Watergate began with an innocuous burglary,a meaningless event on the police blotter.Then a journalist made a connection.Then...
I don't think these women are small potatoes and I still think it's interesting that both are women and both are immigrants.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('hotsacks', 'w')hat's Enron to do with 0/11?

Dick Cheney's US National Energy Policy Development Group was attended by Ken Lay. The secret findings of this group are thought by Michael Ruppert to have provided the evidence to secure elite consent to 9/11. Don't expect the Scalia court ot release this any time soon.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'J')udicial Watch contended that in addition to members of the federal government, a number private individuals -- such as then-Enron President and Chairman Kenneth Lay and GOP figures Haley Barbour and Marc Racicot, acting as energy lobbyists -- "regularly attended and fully participated" in the group's meetings held behind closed doors, and were in fact members of the group.
