What does that prove? Doomers can't seem to stop forwarding strawman caricatures of those who check them on their bad predictions. Just because we don't huddle in fear over every bad zerohedge call doesn't mean we are sleepwalking into the future carelessly. And for the most part, it seems like doomers are more interested in placing bets on their predictions than actually prepping for the doom they say is around the corner. Rarely do I hear doomers actually talk about their own preps. On that front I give Armageddon credit for dumping all his savings into precious metals, but he seems to have the luxury of doing that as his household is quite wealthy. Preps often involve tradeoffs for mere mortals. For the vast majority of us, clinging to the teat of BAU has the best ROI vs. quitting our jobs and disappearing in a bunker in the woods. So if doomers and cornies are more or less living the same lifestyle who can really claim to have more courage? It just comes down to empty bragging rights over predictions.

And this from the guy who tends to get insulted if someone dares to call him a doomer, even as the walk like a duck, quack like a duck principle applies for him, again and again, over time.

Having credibility at a Trump level isn't a good thing.
Given the track record of the perma-doomer blogs, I wouldn't bet a fast crash doomer's money on their predictions.

But but but, with all the social programs in Canada, and all the taxes, socialized medicine, etc, how in the WORLD could there be poor people?

And yes, living in the US, where after 50+ years of the "war on poverty", with liberals calling for more wealth transfer programs than ever (before COVID-19 hit), I'm being sarcastic re government magically ending poverty, even if it spends endless $trillions claiming to.

And yet its the opposite. Since at least Reagan the war has been more like the war on the poor. As the economic-legal landscape has ever more accomodated the rich owners at the expense of the working class. Product of the total capture of the levers of power by the monied interests. And the only reason your denier ilk can even mount any coherent argument against this reality is all the bull the captured big Media has spewed over the years

Canada is about to collapse. I would not be surprised to see Canadians illegally immigrat to US. Prices gouging has begun in Canada. Some comments in the video seems to confirm that more and more stores are doing it. Canada is on its last legs. It is a cold a nation where you cannot survive without a functioning supply chain. Same for Sweden, Norway, Russia, Finland and so on.
