I wonder how many people appreciate that on the day global peak oil arrives (if t hasn't already) we would be consuming more oil then ever before in history. Yes: when we reach the point of GPO = huge global consumption of oil...not a declining global oil consumption. That comes later. IOW the day we reach GPO will be a happy time for oil consumers.
