$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Cog', 'J')efferson would be of two minds if we brought him into the 21st century. He would be amazed, and I believe well-pleased, at the access to food and technology that even the least of the citizenry has access to. That was not the case in his time. He would also be appalled at the cost, in the terms of governmental interference in our lives, that permitted that to happen.
I guess he would not have noticed the corporations and their ubiquitous presence, their interference in our government, the power of advertising inundating every citizen with a non stop barage of buy buy buy. The obesity in the population, the death like opaque blank stares from folks overly saturated on stuff. This is not hyperbole. For someone back then to be transported into our future these things would stand out. Remember these were wise men our founding fathers and they could spot oppression from afar. You think they wouldn't notice?
Patiently awaiting the pathogens. Our resiliency resembles an invasive weed. We are the Kudzu Ape
