$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('pstarr', '
')I have not done an exhaustive search of the site but the the only figures I found on square footage were;

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'Y')es it is possible to grow fresh vegetables for a family of four on the front lawn! (i.e.., it is possible to grow all of this in 800 square feet of good biointensive beds).

This seems to refer to vegetables. Does it include protein, carbs, and nutritional oils?

That just refers to the vegetables in the average American diet, not to a complete vegan diet. For the square footage information for complete diets, you need to read the books or pamphlets. "One Basic Mexican Diet" and "One Basic Kenyan Diet" in the pamphlets section are cheap ($3.00?) booklets with complete information about square footage, nutrients, etc. I believe the Kenyan one is more detailed.

Yes, suburbs will still exist. Crime may increase, and cutbacks on everything will have to be made for fuel/heating and inflation costs. I recently calculated that with my annual 3% raise, and 6% real inflation, I lose 3% a year :(

I live near the edge of the suburbs. Although I only have 0.21 acres of land (not including house), my parents have 36+ acres about 2 miles away. My fall back plan is to relocate there should the situation become untenable due to severe crime or other situations. Otherwise, I can probably "commute" there to farm other than my small amount in my back yard.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'W')hile the Garden of Eden diet has the greatest impact, slashing levels of bad cholesterol and maintaining levels of good cholesterol, eating the 5.5 kilograms of food required to reach 2,700 calories a day proved to be too time consuming to be practical in modern life.

What if 'modern' life proves to be unsustainable (for whatever reason)? I myself, would be glad to spend 4-5 hours gathering or preparing food as opposed to sitting in traffic, staring at a computer screen, sitting in yet another meeting, or watching TV (not that I watch TV)....
