T was never over 45% or so in any polling average I've seen and C never under 45%

Obviously polls can be wrong and they would be wrong this year if any but I can say I will certainly be surprised if HC doesn't win. I have pretty well felt that all along - except for that little tick after Comey's first command performance and reprise a week ago.

She's OK, she's smart, she's wonky, she lies about par for politicians and far less than the alternative according to Politifact. Her original sin was saying "I'm not gonna stay home and bake cookies." After that it's been one long investigation and unfortunately that will only continue — mainly because that's all the Rs have now that they're all out of ideas. Rest assured she won't be taking any guns or opening the borders or whatever outrage the swamp has beleched lately. The the poor oppressed white males have convinced themselves it's all rigged against them - lol. For lots of men like trump that crack about not staying home with biscuts in the oven and buns in the bed was terrifying. Likewise I'm sure for traditional women, I'm sure it stung. Personally I've never had a problem with strong women or feminism itself for that matter, not that I've always been a paragon of virtue. Nowadays all the people I work with in marketing are women, I find them generally more pleasant than men. For the record my wife has always worked at home (I find her pleasant too).

Yeah emails. All I can say is if you really think (rather than just rationalize) that balances trump then we're simply gonna disagree.

I've been around "salt of the earth" folks my entire life yet I just didn't realize so many white people felt so butt-hurt as too be a stooge to such a clown. The rage at all the various "identities" they find they no longer get to control has made them into fools with absolutely no selfawareness. I just want them to go back to wherever they've been stewing, they are embarassing. I'm talking about the people who feel liberated by trump to just toss off any resembelance to civility, not people who simply disagree with Ds as a matter of government.

Come Wednesday there'll be relief for many and the Rs will likely try to pretend nothing happened, that they just need better "message disipline". But this was pretty well the last hurrah of the nixon/regean southern strategy if not the Gingrich style combativeness over governance — and even worse than Newt it was a case of shark jumping terminal overreach. People my age and older who remember the good old days of crushing a butt in the eggs at the cafe, grabbing a handful of butt at the office and telling a good off-color (or colored) butt joke will be dead or dying in 8 more years. The country club funders of the tax-cut party will need to change to a different scam.

This is as good a line about my 2016 feelings as any:

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('pstarr', '')$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('GASMON', 'I') hope Trump gets in just to stir up the system. I'll give him 6 weeks before TPTB take him out.

Gas
that is what I said. Trump has to go, what with the dreaded Red Button and all. Not an air syringe (leaves a hole) but succinylcholine (SUX for short) or potassium chloride. Bye bye.

Let me get this straight. Are you advocating assassination? 8O

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('pstarr', 'Y')ou really believe I am that stupid? No need to answer. It would only incriminate you ha ha ha.

I'm not the one who offered advise on killing a presidential candidate. Heck, I just want her in jail, not dead. For someone who condemns force, you sure advocate it a lot.

For whichever one loses tomorrow we should apply this strategy to never have to deal with them again.
End of today's commentary by George Will.

Take no chances." What instructions will Tuesday evening's returns give to Republicans about what to do with Trump's approach to the electorate?

I feel very relieved, as if a great weight has been lifted off of me.
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Alfred Tennyson', 'W')e are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

Me, too. The R's have the White House, the Senate, and the House. They will now appoint Conservative justices to the US Supreme Court, and this will resonate for a prolonged period even if Trump is a single term president.

It's as complete a rejection of Liberal D politics as I have ever seen in my lifetime.

My wife cried much of the night.

She is afraid.

Her family came over from Portugal 130 or 140 years ago so she (and my daughter & granddaughters) all have dark hair, dark eyes and skin not lily white.

If you think this is an election about lib vs conserv you are fooling yourself, this was about race from day one

You all imagined a boogieman and you got one
