3 to 6 months would be an easy fix.

If Emily comes any where near that thing it will be at the bottom of the Gulf.

They better get that thing fixed and up right before Hurricane sea.... err never mind. 8O

Thunderhorse is listing pretty bad, 10 ft seas I would hazard to guess could bring her down.

I wonder how far out ruff seas reach from a hurricane.

If Emily does hit near Houston or New Orleans with any force we are going to be up a creek. More down platforms in the Gulf and all hell may break loose.

10 ft. seas, you kiding? All we need is some fat f**k waddling his tubby arse in on some beach in Tampa and good bye Thunderhorse. His gluttony will cost us all. But luckily according to another post, all the fat arses are at home playing Halo and the anorexics won't get near water but a musclebound 'roid head might.. meaning muscle is denser hence more water displacement, yeah $3/gallon of gas is gonna be a bargain. Kinda scary that the movie Oil Storm was so dead on, but then again it was only a matter of time and a bit of simple projection.

Oh yeah get this.. supposedly these are just overfilled bilge tanks, full of what ambrosia or thunder horse shi**.

Looks like the cables they tie the rig down with came off on one side. That would cause the free side to float up higher out of the water. The current could then also push the rig a little off-position, tightening the lines on the OTHER side and pulling that side down more into the water. That's my (un)expert opinion :-D

this may be the craziest year ever. i guarentee one of these will cripple the gulf oil production and cause skyrocketing prices this summer or fall.

Not if it sinks. This thing looks like it won't survive another storm. And Emily is already underway.
