OOps, I forgot to mention this before I posted.

1) You also seem to press the issue of the Oklahoma SEC (just like the oil companies do).

2) You state that this is a scam (just like the oil companies do).

3) You show more sympathy for the oil companie's shady business practices than for ordinary citizens (just like the Republicans do).

Unless you can offer more in the way of hard core proof that the above mentioned observations are true, I cannot believe that you are an ordinary person who just happened to know where to look and what to look for.

Again, this is not a personal attack. I, like most of the people here have been around the block a few times and I think there is more to the story on the Walling's part that you would like to disclose. If this is the case, do you have anything of merrit to share with the rest of us?

Let justice be done!

Ok, I'm brand new to this website - I found it by mistake whilst looking for John Walling. Why? Because I am directly descended from him. I'm one of what is now fairly few Wallings left in Britain.

I'm surprised that this has become such a big issue over there - it's not even mentioned here! My uncle was a member of the Walling Heirs thing, and I remember big discussions about it between my mum and him when I was 12/13 - so I can vouch that this has been going on for some time for those doubters out there. I'm 28 in October!

Its nice to see support for my family, even if they are far flung now. Why shouldn't we stand up for ourselves? I support it 100%, and I've not even joined!

That kind of information usually comes from "insiders" with intimate knowledge of the lawsuit and the parties. I would say that you know more than you are letting on. Nothing personal because I don't know you. But your post about all this research into this case seems a little biased.

I certainly do not have inside information. I can understand why you may
not have read the first Securities link I provided, it takes a long time to
load.

On that I will simply direct your attention to the findings of fact --
apparently not in dispute; if the final cease order(the second link) was
rescinded as some has claimed, I can't find it. Does anyone have a cite?

The undisputed facts from the original hearing included: Thedford placed
membership fees into her personal account, paid personal expenses--
mortgage, insurance and utilities from Assn funds, made a loan to her
sister from these funds, rented her own property back to the Assn
without membership knowledge or prior Board approval , paid herself
and her two daughters as employees without disclosure and without prior
board approval, did not place 75% of funds collected into a trust account
for legal fees as required by Assn. by-laws.

The securities hearer did not find fraud -- that was my ruling based
on everything seen and discussed.

The lawsuit seems to be dead, half way down the page, see
Bea Thedford vs Union Oil etal:

My loyalty is not with the oil companys or the Association, but to the truth.

Again, there is some fact issues that you are leaving out of the SEC case. Since you knew to look at the Oklahoma SEC website about a woman you claim to have never heard about until this thread, you obviously didn't finish your "thourough" investigation of the dismissal of that case. Although you won't find it on the SEC's website, you CAN find it in the Federal Court website for Oklahoma.

If you had read all the documents for the trial and not just the slanted SEC/oil company allegations, you would have also read where Mrs. Thedford allegedly did those things under the guidance of the Assn's attorney. It was HIS responsibility to inform her of what she could and could not not do under the law.

Once all those facts were presented, the case was ultimately dismissed with predjudice. (citing the federal court website).

Do you really think it so absurd that the Republicans, whom have a lot at stake with the oil companies, wouldn't use their influence with the SEC to stop this lawsuit from going forward? Since truth is what you seek, let's really talk about the truth.

And just a curiosity on my part, but how exactly did you come to know where to look and what to look for concerning Mrs. Thedford? And why do you only mention her? I would hazard a guess that your "thourough" investigation into this matter would have produced several more names involved with the SEC and other TRUTHFUL matters.

And on a final note, it appears this case is not dead, but rather very much alive. While they lost in district court (judge had a conflict of interest) and lost on appeal (attorney withheld all evidence supporting claims and facts), there has been some very interesting developments as far as refiling their case. I'm sure that will turn up when you embark on your truthful, unbiased investigation into this matter.

Anxiously awaiting your reply...

I have no knowledge of the SEC being involved in this;
my posts were about the Oklahoma Securities Commission,
not the SEC, which is a federal agency.

I'll look for the additional things you have stated.

How did I find the court case? It wasn't easy. After much
looking, I went to genforum.com and the family board for
surname "Walling" and looked and looked for addn info.
I was actually looking for the nature of claims, not the
lawsuit at that time, but I found this:

http://genforum.genealogy.com/cgi-bin/p ... ::582.html

This led me to start googleing for a case that had been
sent up the court system and I deduced it was named
not "Walling" which I had been searching for without success
but "Thedford".

Of course I had known earlier the name Beatrice Thedford, as it appeared
on the heirs website, but until I found the genforum entry, I had
been looking for a lawsuit "Walling v Exxon".

walling heirs law suit

Unread postby resqueen » Mon 11 Jul 2005, 22:59:04

:-D

I just returned from the 2nd Annual Walling Heirs meeting.

It sounds to me like they are just about ready to take names and kick
oil company butt. It is about time somebody wins something from these slimmy big corporations.

Right now the oil comapnies are conditioning us so they can keep upping the prices until they get 5 or 6 dollars a gallon. That is my guess. And the only way I will be able to afford their prices is join the JWHCC so I will have the funds to do so.

wallingheirs.net is where to join

This thread, in my opinion, is full of SHILLS (hucksters)...new and not-so-new posters whose ONLY posts seem to MIRACULOUSLY be on this thread...who joined just as this thread was posted...but have waited four months to post on nothing BUT this thread...Hmmmm...perhaps many are the same person...Perhaps a few URL's should be noted...Perhaps the shills may best take note and take a hike...

Walling-Shill

Unread postby resqueen » Tue 12 Jul 2005, 08:08:29

Hi

I am just a dumb old farmer, so I dusted off the dictionary and looked up shill.

It says a shill is the confederate of a gambler, pitchman, auctioneer etc who pretends to buy, bet or bid so as to lure onlookers into participating.

I am not a pretender, and I don't care if anyone buys, bets or bids. However, this is a very interesting case and looking into it will not hurt anyone.

Oil companies are the law in Texas. I am for the underdog, and anyone with enough guts to take on the texas law gets my vote.

Other families have taken on the oil monopoly and won. Keep on Keeping on I say.

Resqueen

PS You sound like an oil company :-D

Very astute observation Oils. I am ready to wager you are right.
Stop filling dumpsters, as much as you possibly can, and everything will get better.

Just think it through.
It's not hard to do.

DaGrizz-

Quite frankly, I've seen your type so often even on the few visits I've had to investment boards it's an out-an-out caricature...your response, and the sycophantic head-nodding of the others in the 'game' are quite obvious to me...

A) Here's a new thing! Could be big!
b) Yeah, wow, I'd like to teach them a lesson!
C) Me too!
d) Me three!
E) But...
A) you're wrong
F) Yeah, it's looks good to me..
G) It's gettin' HOT now! It's going to go to the MOON!

Actually, with the evidence on the cease and desist order regarding the so-called Walling Heirs securities fraud told me quite a bit...I am surprised it wasn't attacked by you with more ferocity.

Suggesting I am necessarily affiliated or supportive of any particular oil company or the industry in general, for those who tend to note that of all my posts, I do not attack generally the industry in general nor would I consider the industry immune from criticism, however, I just haven't seen the occassion to do so.

Here, however, you are:

Can a mod or admin re-title this thread to to something along the lines of:

"The Walling Heirs Scam Exposed" or similar so no one who doesn't read the whole thread gets suckered into this?

They could also take note, if they wanted, of a few e-mail addresses....he he...
