I'd just to second Newf's somewhat OT point--anyone who has been an incident that is later covered by the press will likely feel this kind of surreal out-of-body kind of experience of seeing what you thought was a clear case of X being presented in the press as an obvious case of Y...

very weird and off putting. Once you experience it, you can never quite trust the msm again as you had before.

I first experienced this odd situation at the age of about 16.

I've been confused, isolated, and suspicious of everything ever since... :) 8O   [smilie=llorar.gif]

The good news is that, having experienced it, you are more likely to be more awake and aware and to trust your own senses.

In a way it makes you more alive to your surroundings.

It's also stressful to not trust.

A rambling article that decides to throw in the unrelated sea level rise subject to make it more distracting. The main point is not highlighted: that the biochemical balance in the oceans is extremely sensitive. So rather small perturbations are producing very large effects. This gives us an idea how oceans became anoxic in the past. Suppress enough of the oxygen producers and you quickly flip the system into an oxygen depleted regime. It seems that the global oceans will become anoxic again in the not too distant future.
