However, the Pope does agree with Kim Davis's views on homosexual marriage. Here is a recent statement he made in the Philippines.

http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2015/01 ... c-country/
“The family is threatened by growing efforts on the part of some to redefine the very institution of marriage,” he said, hours after warning that Philippine society was “tempted by confusing presentations of sexuality, marriage and the family.”

“As you know, these realities are increasingly under attack from powerful forces which threaten to disfigure God’s plan for creation and betray the very values which have inspired and shaped all that is best in your culture,” he said.

I have also included a link to Cid's favorite progressive news channel MSNBC which states the same thing.

I believe the Pope was referring to harlots that get married multiple times.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'V')atican assistant spokesman Rev. Thomas Rosica said Friday that Francis had not invited Davis to a gathering that included dozens of people and suggested that her attendance may have been manipulated by her and her lawyer.

Asked if she had exploited the encounter to promote her beliefs, he replied, “One could say that.”

"A list is given, these are the people you are going to meet .... Just to have an idea of whose hand you are shaking. It would have been done on the first floor as the pope is coming down the stairs to leave -- ‘Holy Father, these people would like to bid you farewell as you go to New York’ -- That is the scenario,” he said.

Kim Davis is going to Hell.

Unless Cid Yama has somehow achieved equality with God, not his call to make on who goes to heaven or hell.

I thought Cid was an atheist. Good to see he has finally converted to the one true faith.

One wonders when this Pope is going to address the problem of hiding pedophile American priests in South American countries. Does he not care if those poor kids down there get diddled while American kids are kept safe from predators? So much for being for the poor and downtrodden.

http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/worl ... /32551455/

RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil — The Catholic Church has allowed priests accused of sexually abusing children in the United States and Europe to relocate to poor parishes in South America, a yearlong GlobalPost investigation has found.

Reporters confronted five accused priests in as many countries: Paraguay, Ecuador, Colombia, Brazil and Peru. One priest who relocated to a poor parish in Peru admitted on camera to molesting a 13-year-old boy while working in the Jackson, Miss., diocese. Another is currently under investigation in Brazil after allegations arose that he abused disadvantaged children living in an orphanage he founded there.

All five were able to continue working as priests, despite criminal investigations or cash payouts to alleged victims. All enjoyed the privilege, respect and unfettered access to young people that comes with being clergy members.

I am Taoist. Not really a religion, but a way of life, a way of perceiving the world.

I also believe in reincarnation and spiritual growth across lifetimes.

If only there WERE a literal Hell to cast those like Davis and her Lawyer into. Davis has demonstrated that her stance has nothing to do with religious convictions, and everything to do with politics.

The hurtful, harmful, spiteful, selfish actions of men are not caused by some outside force called Evil, they are the direct choices of those who commit them, and have both immediate and future consequences.

Though they may not recognize it, no one escapes the consequences of one's choices.

Spiritual evolution involves consciously and actively choosing. Ever seeking the broadest understanding.

So this mousy woman deserves to go to hell for annoying Cid. Your threshold for eternal punishment is really really low.

Really? You took that literally? Lighten up.

Also, I could give a shit about Kim Davis. Some very powerful people used Kim Davis to effectively drown-out the Progressive message of the Pope to America, help the disadvantaged among you.

The power of the Vatican is extremely great. There will be consequences.

There are consequences already: in every nation dominated by the Catholic Church there is runaway population growth due to a papal prohibition on birth control devices. There is also runaway corruption, hunger, violence and misery. People are fleeing nations controlled by "his holiness" in droves and running to nations controlled by protestant religions which actually combine humanitarianism with rational thinking to limit population.

It is the height of gaul for the Pope to condemn those who oppose immigration- when the migrants are running from the destruction caused by his policies. That liberals have embraced him so much show how bankrupt liberalism has become (and stupid Republican opposition to abortion)

No matter how you look at it, the Pope and his church are a plague upon nations. The greatest gift he could give mankind is to renounce the ugly church view on birth control and abortion. Then he should ask his people to quit mindlessly following the church, think for themselves, and tackle corruption.

Vatican puts journalists on trial for publishing secret documents
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'H')e noted that he’s not accused of publishing anything false or defamatory, merely news – “an activity that is protected and guaranteed by the Italian constitution, by the European Convention on Human Rights and by the Universal Declaration on Human Rights.”
...
Fittipaldi’s book “Avarice,” and Nuzzi’s book “Merchants in the Temple,” both published earlier this month, detail waste and mismanagement in the Vatican administration, the greed of some cardinals and bishops and the resistance Pope Francis is facing in trying to clean it up.

Both books were based on documents produced by a reform commission Francis appointed to get a handle on the Vatican’s financial holdings and propose reforms so that more money could be given to the poor.
...
In his statement, Fittipaldi said the accusations against him were so vague that he couldn’t defend himself against them, noting that prosecutors haven’t even spelled out which documents he’s alleged to have obtained illicitly.
...
The Vatican in 2013 criminalized the leaking of confidential information and publishing news from that information after Nuzzi wrote a book detailing the corruption, intrigue and petty turf battles that bedevil parts of the Vatican.
Facebook knows you're a dog.

The Germans have been force-pacified after WW2. You can invade a country the old-fashioned way militarily or throw a considerable amount of young alien-males into a force-pacified society and hope for inner tensions to escalate and produce instability.

Personally, I do not see the threat, since Germany has long winters and it realllllly can get boring there, especially on the countryside if you are unemployed (why do you think Germans drink so much beer and/or build machines all the time? Either build machines during the day and drink beer to forget the day. or, if unemployed drink beer all day - which makes this country a no-go even for an expat-German like myself.
