I think you mean she was led by an army of corporate lawyers as they escorted her out the door at HP after the board fired her.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', ' ')If Carly Fiorina gains any traction from her barbed attacks on Hillary Clinton, the right-wing cartoons will practically draw themselves: Carly and Hillary in a teeth-baring cat fight, Carly’s claws like a tiger’s, HRC’s eyes as red as a Demon Sheep’s, their hair seriously mussed, and Benghazi burning in the background.

just a tad! :P

Oh well, it's too far gone to bother with splitting it off. I guess I should just change the title and go with it.

MD my sincere apology for derailing your thread, I should know better than to post when I am in a foul mood by now.

Regarding Carly, Carson, and Trump - I don't care how great a debater anyone is, what a great business person they are, how honorable or thoughtful they are, or what their specific positions are on national issues - if they have had so little interest in the governance of our land that they haven't even sat on a local city council or school board, they have no business running for POTUS.

meh, no worries.

My general thinking is that as we approach this presidential election cycle it might be worthwhile to have threads in America's Discussion to review and discuss specific and significant candidates.

Right now the field is still very wide, so it's too soon to open discussions about each.

We have:

Hillary Clinton
Bernie Sanders
Donald Trump
Carly Fiorina
Jeb Bush
All the rest.

I'm interested in critique and discussion wrt each candidate's specific qualifications and policy positions, and they become clear through the fog of political maneuvering.

This election cycle is developing into the most unusual in memory, much of which is driven in the background by unspoken energy and economic dynamics.

Grab yer popcorns!

All the rest
Stop filling dumpsters, as much as you possibly can, and everything will get better.

Just think it through.
It's not hard to do.

Based on what I see from friends on Facebook Limbaugh, Hannity and Levin are all for Trump and yesterday both Limbaugh and Levin slammed Fiorina as GOP Jeb Light.

Hannity is coming to the conclusion rather late that Jeb Bush and the other RINO's are not what the voters are after. Limbaugh, whose show I listen to on the radio, has been in Trump's court since the day Trump announced. Limbaugh very much dislikes the establishment Republicans.

Fiorina is not really establishment though. Like Carson and Trump, she is not really in the Washington political inner circle. Which is why she is polling well.

I agree that is how she is trying to portray herself but she and her family have insider written all over. Her Dad was a Federal judge appointed by Nixon and also served as deputy Attorney General. Carly herself was an inside adviser to the McCain 2008 campaign and held the position of RNC fundraising chair. She has done a good job of playing the outsider though.

Interesting how she has twisted the narrative to appear to be an outsider is it not?

Cog, do you think people are picking on Carly in some unfair way, or are you just eager to vote for her?

Neither. I am suggesting that Fiorina is far and away a superior to the likes of Hillary Clinton. A woman who most on this board will end up voting for and cheering about it.

Oh, you know that nobody is going to vote for Hillary. But, somehow she will end up winning anyway. 8O

Give it up, cog.

1. Most people on this board will never vote or cheer for an R. The Ds could nominate a yellow dog or even Hillary and these folks will always back the D.

2. Carly got off one zinger at trump at the debate, and the MSM is now pumping her up. In actuality Carly would be a very weak presidential candidate because her business record at HP wasn't good. The MSM would turn on her and rip her apart on the 30,000 people she laid off at HP if she was ever nominated.

In the debate, Fiorina says that the notorious Planned Parenthood video shows a live full term baby struggling for life as it's being dissected, but actually the Planned Parenthood videos show three people eating lunch at a conference. Is she stupid, or delusional. or shoveling propaganda at the base? Maybe she will claim she saw Jews drinking the blood of Christian babies, because, you know what? This is really just a slight update of the fascist "Blood Libel" the Nazis used against the Jews.
