Oil in the news is almost sureal.

What's on your mind?
General interest discussions, not necessarily related to depletion.

Oil in the news is almost sureal.

I have noticed the explosive coverage of oil in our main stream news channels. It's almost sureal in the way the current events are folding. This morning congress passed the "energy bill" or something. So now oil prices are trading at about 59.50 or something. It's funny to watch the media cover this because they avoid the " what if we ran out of oil ,starting now". It also seems to me that the media totally pushes negative energy with anything to do with china. Sway the masses ,sway the masses. Ever since oil started climbing again recently the media ,economist, and the government have went nuts. It's almost sureal ,but it's almost funny. 8)

I agree. Many of us have been watching for PO and it is a very uneasy feeling to see it unfold.

So much of what is to come is unpredictable though.

Yes, the oil panic train has left the station. Opportunities still exist. People still believe in the reality of fiat currencies that are backed by - nothing at all. If you are fortunate enough to have any spare cash, buy gold.
