FYI IMHO it's kinda dumb to smash the system because that implies doing away with all the scientific knowledge that created all kinds of goods and services that would not have existed other wise, having said that I do agree the "management" has been too self centered/serving!

I'm with GASMON on this analysis; and I break it down like this. The 0.001% control just about everything; the 1% own just about everything; and the 20% run just about everything. To get to those 0.001%'s you have to cut through thousands upon thousands of humans that are dependent upon the decisions and network connections of that particular 0.001%'er. And they will fight to protect that structure; even if they don't know the name of the person at its core. And most don't.
There will be no Maidan in Moscow; and there definitely will be no Maidan in the US or Northern Europe. And as far as I'm concerned. That's a good thing.

Well, I didn't get rained on today; I'm full, warm, comfortable; I had excess energy to go to the gym last night and lift really heavy steel disks for no particularly good reason what so ever. 1). So you have credible proof of the "control"?
2). And you have credible information as to how much they give to charity, as compared to say, you? If you have no data, how can you reasonably imply they do no good?
And no, empty liberal whining doesn't count any more than, say, blatant conservative science denial does.
Given the track record of the perma-doomer blogs, I wouldn't bet a fast crash doomer's money on their predictions.
