Remote Viewing

Postby Schweinshaxe » Tue 04 Oct 2005, 19:34:08

Well, what do you think about it?

As you may know, the CIA was involved in a series of experiments concerning remote viewing. Some say that they were successful in some cases as well. Check out this Wikipedia article if you don't believe me:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Remote_viewing

Let's see if it works. I will for the next 24 hours concentrate my thoughts on a famous American actress. I'll tell you tomorrow who she is.

So take of your tin-foil hats now (I'll not be wearing one) and focus your mental energy on a small town in southern Germany. Can you read my mindwaves?

Hello,

The wiki article is really good. I would also recommend this site: http://www.firedocs.com/

Also if you can rent a movie called "suspect 0" it has a good clip on the extras menu of a real world trial that will explain protocol and show the process. The movie is a bit overly dramatic in its presentation of the skill but still worth the time.

I have been studying and practicing RV for 15 years off an on. I was trained by a collegue who was at SRI during the early years with Puthoff and Targ. I have had good success with it in spite of my lazy approach to training and practice.

I know it works from my personal experience and no matter how many trials and targets I have done over the years...it still gives me goosebumps when I nail it.

The official protocol discourages anything but doubleblind targets so naming the target as "an actress" invalidates the experiment. Keep in mind this is just the "official" protocol and in my experience there is still value in front loading a target.

I am not heavily involved in the RV community mostly because its full of ex-spooks and in spite of the governments claims that they do not have such a program in place, i am very suspicious.

Finally I am not sure what RV has to do with PO. Can someone detail that for me?

I call bullshit to the whole schebang.

Theres an organization that has 1 million dollars up for grabs if you can prove such abilities.
1 million dollars.
No one has ever won it.

Now I hear all kinds of crap about how "I'd never use my powers for personal gain"
My ass. When all you have to do is walk into a room, and tell people whats on the other side for 1 million clams you'd think they'd have a line of people a mile long to win that challenge.

SO, until someone actually takes the Pepsi Challenge on the deal....I call schenanigans on the whole thing.

...no not that one. :x

The porn one. :x

Yeah, that's the one. :x

That rewards up to $10 million now, I believe.

All this parapsychological crap is amusing, though. Image

Scarlett Johansson!

You weren't even close...

The world of forteana or "anomalous phenomena" isn't your strong point I can tell... You can predict the day and time when the world will go under due to PO, but you can't figure out what a sleazy guy like me thinks about all day.

Due to the non-scientific nature of this experiment, I'd say RV isn't completely debunked yet.

Barbara Streisand? tsk, tsk, tsk...

Ok...

Is it Scarlett Johansson?

Can I have my 10 million now?
The problem is, of course, that not only is economics bankrupt, but it has always been nothing more than politics in disguise... economics is a form of brain damage.

Trust me I understand the resistance to the possibility of RV being a skill that humans have and can develop. I was somewhat unsure at first but I have personally seen it work so.

Aside from that the data indicates that future viewing is possible but fairly random considering the nature of the wave function in looking out and not back or real time.

Frankly I am not sure why some of the better RV outfits have not claimed the prize...could be a lot of reasons...maybe their protocols are designed in a way to make the bar unattainable...or maybe the RV folks are already rich as shit after tracking the stock market.

The skill set that RV uses is basically the same as when you get a "feeling" about something...a hunch...a bit of information that pops into your head and you dont rationally have an explaination for it...like knowing who is calling on the phone for no reason...

Lastly...I submit that this skill we are now calling RV has been around a long time and we are just now getting to the point of investigating it. Give science some time to sort the wheat from the chaff at least...then make a judgement call about whats real and whats not. After all, not too long ago, the earth was flat and it was only by the grace of god that humans didnt fall off the earth. Paradigms change, significantly, and sometimes in ways that are not predictable from inside the box.

I leave you with this:

"Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocrities. The latter cannot understand it when a man does not thoughtlessly submit to hereditary prejudices but honestly and courageously uses his intelligence."

Thanks for the input Stuart. I've read a fair amount about it, but haven't tried it. Hopefully, the study remains "scientific". I wonder if at the upper reaches the super elites aren't a bunch of occultists who have indulged in this kind of practise for many centuries.

The sheer audacity of the idea that people who control the world gaze into crystal balls, and gain power through the use of ritual, provides tremendous protection. They want to maintain a monopoly on occult knowledge and accomplish this handilyby hiring debunking agents, like Psi-cop. The military rviewers arelikely just playing catch up.

What does it have to do with peak oil? Remote viewing the future, with regard to peak oil, might provide some clues, though they couldn't be verified in the present.

What was the most interesting, or most scary thing you ever viewed, and what are your views of the future personally, oil wise, or otherwise?

I was only kidding. I wasn't actually thinking about Scarlett Johansson. I was thinking about Adam Sandler. I know that he's not female, nor living in southern Germany, but that's the person I was thinking about.

I'm sorry for any inconvenience caused by this sudden change.

Heck if you want to get paranoid a smart card in your wallet or a smart phone in your pocket or an onstar equipped vehicle all provide tech savvy organizations or individuals with the capacity to track you, and in the latter two cases to listen in to whatever the built in microphones can hear. With the smart phone they also get the camera view both front and back.

Isn't it about programing remotes?
