Syn - The Book Cliffs are certainly something to behold especially for a lad from S La. I actually climbed them one day. Normally I wouldn’t because there’s always an easier way to access an outcrop. But one day I sat under a tree and from afar watch a number of undergrad geology majors climb up a face one morning. Being flat lander Texans they didn’t understand it was easier to climb up then down. So when they got stuck me and another grad student hand to climb up and guide them into footholds for the trip down.

Dumb ass Texans that had never seen a mountain before . LOL.

ROCKMAN,

Never seen a mountain before? How can that be? I distinctly remember Twin Mountains just outside of San Angelo. All of 200 feet high, they were.

(The restaurant named for them is the only place I've ever ordered Kansas City Steak for Four.)
