$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('collapsenik', '
')That is the most wonderful place I have ever seen. Ever since I was socked in the family home during some of the big snow storms in the 70's in PA, I've loved those abandoned in the wilderness in the snow episodes.
Enjoy!
My "man camp" looks more remote than it is, but the snow definitely gives a sense of isolation. I haven't seen a soul in 5 days. Kind of nice

The snow is starting to melt, but we had some freezing rain, so there's ice on top of the snow. Still not feeling brave enough to venture off the farm. We're in for warm temps and rain this week, though, so shouldn't last too much longer.
The extended isolation has brought to my attention some holes in my preps. Lots of stuff I need to stock up on, and cooking/heating/electricity/water alternatives I need to explore.
A garden will make your rations go further.
