Are you seriously expecting us well informed blog readers to NOT know about a tsunami which happened years ago, and caused the knock on disaster at Fukishima to boot? What, you think we all live in the woods, spend our time smoking weed, don't have internet access and can't read a newspaper?

How about you give us some credit for at least being up on OLD current events?

In this area the terms have been used the same way for at least 40 years, a Watch means conditions make a Tornado possible, and Alert means conditions favor Tornado formation so be prepared and a Warning means a funnel cloud has been sighted and seek shelter immediately. Some people just don't care and others believe it can't happen to them.
