Romney seems absolutely terrible, worse than McCain either but people are more desperate now & the right-wing's pull somehow seems stronger. I still think I will win the bet.

Hey what happened to Cog? Maybe his predictive ability told him his hundred bucks is history? Haven't checked his last post but it was a few weeks back... (Come on Cog; your input 'round here is worth more than $100 in 5 years!)

The conditions of the wager being satisfied, Narz and Livewire have won their $50. Narz has contacted me. Livewire needs to pm me regarding how he wants to receive payment.

Par for the course with peakoil.com predictions (Yellowstone Caldera anyone?)

Next prediction to put to bed--Mayan Calendar doom.

I'm thinking of having a TEOTWAWKI party on the 20th of December. Maybe we will smoke some of that newly legalized pot. 8)

Does Intrade have an End of the World 12/20 (or 21) bet? LOL
Given the track record of the perma-doomer blogs, I wouldn't bet a fast crash doomer's money on their predictions.
