Alright, the poll is closed. There remains only the truth. Let's begin by stating the interim results: as of June 21, 2012 gold is at $1568.10 and oil is at $78.60.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('careinke', '')$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Revi', 'I') really don't know what it's going to do, but gold at $1500 and oil at $90 seems like a reasonable price.

The fun part is no one knows.

I'm guessing that Greece sets off the next depression and the prices will fall far lower than most expect.

I'm thinking that the price may fall but the value will rise but a collapse in the world economy will probably make the dollar more valuable.

Just goes to show I'm not King Abdullah  My short range forecasting skills are ok like next few days, but this thread shows being the master at year out range forecasting doesn't mean jack about median term skills. My prediction here sucked, whether WTI or Brent.

My prediction sucked too. The average got it right, so far. At the time there was a reason for speculating about the end of the summer. Now, I think I should have said what will the prices be a month after the election.
