I've been reading homepower using their free subscriptions for almost a year now.

Today I went to get the new issue and It appears that they no longer offer the free download, I can buy it in electronic form or pay to have a paper version shipped to me for a couple of bucks more.

My understanding was they where making money off of advertisements and thats why they required a subscription to get the free versions.

Anyone know what has happened? I was in the process of writing an article describing my changes and the effects they've had to my place for them but that won't be finished if they are charging for access to the info now. Anyone know of any other good sources of info similar to what was in the magazine?

Awesome mag... they have been getting my money for a while

I have not checked recently but I thought they still offered the previous issue to whatever is current for free d/l. I will check and see if they still do that.
