I was deeply saddened to hear of all the Rhino poaching. I have emailed a private game reserve there volunteering time to work with their security patrols actively searching and fighting the poachers. If anyone here is from Africa or has contacts there with people engaged in this fight, please let me know. I'm not interesting in donating money, only my time and rifle.

I'm surprised wealthy nations haven't stationed armed forces in such places. It's obviously a worthy cause, but it also would make the military more likeable, and could get them a foothold in another land.
