Decent people are better off joining more productive movements. There is a lot of problems in the world right now and OWS is not really addressing any of them.

We have war - Protest the coming war in Iran
Loss of Civil Liberties - Protest the NDAA on February 3, 2012
Protest Internet Censorship - Protest ACTA like the Polish are doing
Protest the economic woes at the G8 meeting in Chicago

I suspect OWS will go away soon with the recent unproductive riots.

http://occupyeducated.org/2012/01/17/richard-heinberg-interview-announcement/

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'O')n Monday, January 30th, 8PM Eastern/5PM Pacific, Richard Heinberg, author of “The Party’s Over”, “Peak Everything” and “The End of Growth”, the last of which is featured on our Essential Reading List, will be discussing what it means to be living in a growth-based economy on a finite planet. If it is not sustainable to grow forever, then what sort of demands should Occupy be making of the system? Do we need fixes, or a complete rethinking of our economy? Do we search for economic justice now, or prepare for an entirely new game?

[sarcasm on]Bunch of dirty ragtag hippies really are not addressing anything of any importance. Just a bunch of whiny little brats. They will fade away soon enough. [/sarcasm off]

Point well-taken, no point in arguing about someone cheating at Monopoly when the entire board is about to be upended.

Actually, the Soros-funded internet site that helped start OWS has just issued new marching orders. The OWS folks have new orders to go to Chicago to protest the upcoming WTO meeting.

The website told the OWS folks to go to Chicago and recreate the "spirit" of the Chicago riots of 1968 (wink wink nudge nudge).

How can Obama, Elizabeth Warren and other democrats support OWS when they vandalize, steal and burn government property?

Aren't these kind of things breaking out across the world? At least no one was killed.

Who doesn't like a good flag burning, stomping on apple pie and a little piss christ for good measure?

The big criticism of OWS was that it was supposedly a bunch of antisemites, based mainly on a couple of Manhattan street hustlers/schizophrenics who were on those street corners screaming at passersby for at least a year before OWS (as shown by various youtube videos of local street people).

So now it turns out the real antisemites were meeting with Ron Paul and raising money for him. I guess the tradmed will be all over this story! Yeah, not likely.

Antisemites are just losers who can't stand the fact that about 2% of the population (Jewish) probably wields about 1/4 of the political influence in this country. Witness the # of Jewish neocons.
