I may be mistaken but I'm positive I've seen this before in a lengthier video somewhere. Other parts, I haven't seen anywhere before.

I think the BBC used SOME parts of The Power of Nightmares to produce this much shorter more focused film. Anyway, it's really good. It almost deserves a permanent download link on PeakOil.com.

You know, it's also shocking to realize that for Americans who are accustomed to receiving their news from major media sources, this would be cutting edge, brand new information. In fact, this was shown to Britons over two years ago and I'm only just seeing this now on the internet.

I'm from an English family. My parents immigrated here in '57. They are observing often to me now about how the American culture-scape has been changing for the worse, especially in the last ten years or so. Our media in this country is increasingly resembling the Pravda of the old Soviet Union - no dissent, no ruffling of any feathers, no character.

If anyone should see something worthwhile on British TV, be sure to let us mushrooms in on it, will you?
