$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('OilFinder2', '')$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('OilFinder2', 'I')f the dollar appreciates 30% over the next 6-12 months, it's time to head for the hills.

Told ya.

US dollar soars, everything else tumbles

Today is a great example of the opposite of ^that^ happening.

As I write this, the dollar is down about 0.8%, but everything else is jumping by some 2-4%.

When the markets are in a good mood, the dollar goes down and everything else tends to go up. When the markets are in a bad mood, the dollar goes up and everything else tends to go down.

What's really scary is that the dollar has only gained about 8% since this article was written.

I do believe it's time to revisit this thread.

The oh-so-scary rise in the dollar in September has all but reversed itself the past few weeks. From Marketwatch's DXY page, here we have the dollar over the past year - with a bit of editorial added in. :)

Ah so the US is back on track in the race to the bottom, if it wasn't for the Euro being banjaxed with the Greek issue and an "agreement" being made the US Dollar would have continued to be the "last chance saloon" and appreciated further.
