A great article on how the elite structure is dynamic, not a static situation, as it once was. The noise to signal ratio is so high around the Bilderberger and supranational elite control idea, that by the time you sort through the fantasy fuelled, or paranoia driven rantings to get through to the real signal, things have changed! To get a remotely reasonable assessment of what might be going on takes years of sifting through this stuff. I've done a certain amount, to my own satisfaction, and can get a sense of something that rings true, based on my own reading of events.

For what it's worth, I'm posting this article on supranational control that definitely rings true for me. It's lifted off a web site that I know nothing about, that looks kind of silly, but nevertheless Rappaport is credible.
His ideas about Russia and China's motivations and roles, I don't necessarily agree with, but the model of control and breakdown of control, that he has described are irresistable.

Cartel Control and breakdown--Jon Rappaport-

The cartels and their storefronts thought of Gangsterism as some kind of degenerate sub-human game, when it wasn’t played according to the rules of their own degenerate sub-human version of the same game -- but they miscalculated the signs. They didn’t see that this trend was leading to a huge wildcat splitting off of corrupt power.

And now they are scrambling to deal with it. The 9/11 attack was a green light given to an Operation which was supposed to have controllable consequences. But from another angle, it or something like it would have happened anyway as the result of a growing swelling trend: obscene Gangsterism.

Strange exotica growing in this hothouse, threadbear. 'All bets are off, and all bets are on'. And what about all those dying microbiologists? The Vietnam War was fought over a bet between Aristotle Onassis and Howard Hughes. What is one to make of a secret society when one even knows of its existence? I think I'll stick to making up rhymes.

PMS, We all have to go with our own natural bent. Yours is creating patterns using words, mine is teasing out patterns by analysing events and people. Great Celine Dion poem, by the way!

Thanks for the compliment. Can you give me a synopsis of what was revealed by the linked article. I read it and was confused. Best I could make of it was that the old conspiracies are crumbling and being replaced by chaos and gangsters. Mostly a lot of breathless, heated rhetoric.

You pretty much summed it up, PMS. And if you can't get breathless and heated up over the criminalization of loosely organized thugs, pulling strings of sovereign nations, I ask you sir, what can you get breathless and heated up over? Oh, wait a minute...I know...I read the Freudian dream analyses posts.

PMS: I think I need to acquaint myself with this board's policy on ad hominem attacks. For your sake.

FYI, yes I did read the article, and though I cannot vouch for its overall accuracy, it did make many seemingly incontrovertible points about the increasing "gangsterization" of our society. By the way, if you remain confused about this article, feel free to ask me about it any time. Or maybe threadbear would be just as willing to discuss it. The key is, you have to ask nicely.

That wasn't ad hominem, that was ad cretin. Let's just agree to ignore each other. Best thing to do here.

Tell you what, you're free to ignore me if you want. But I may not be able to afford you the same courtesy. It mostly depends on what you say.

OK, but if you are going to shadow me and make snide posts then I'll be forced to ask you questions like 'are you a dingbat?' or 'are you an idiot?' etc. You started that crap with your 'are you a shill?' nonsense. Just because you see things differently than me is no reason for you to start in with all that obnoxious attitude like you did the other day. If you may recall I welcomed your posting in that other thread I started and I indicated that it didn't bother me what your political views were. When someone like you talks about 'extending courtesy' what you mean is precisely the opposite. My opinion now is that you are an extremist leftwing nutjob. Not that I have anything against extremist leftwing nutjobs. Some really nice people are extremist leftwing nutjobs. So maybe I should amend that to say that you are just not my kind of extremist leftwing nutjob. Hopefully you'll tire of this and just make your posts to the issues rather than tailing me around to make snide little comments

That's it. I'm retracting my offer to explain the article at http://www.halexandria.org/dward341.htm to you.

I don't think you're a very kind person.

It seemed to me this was the ravings of someone up too late at night, possibly playing the card game illuminati - which is an excellent game, while smoking way too much dope.

8O Thank you Threadbare!! What a great link. [smilie=XXeyeslam.gif]

This linked site is yet another reward for spending so much time reading this stupid 'geology' forum, PO.com :-D

Quote:
"If we track this immense and disparate overall corruption back through time, we see that it is rooted in two things: an ignorance, and an unwillingness, to find out what the human being actually is.

As abstract as this may sound, it is a crucial point.

At moments we catch glimpses of reality, of ourselves, of other people, of the world, of the universe, which suddenly take the lid off the puppet show and expose us to the sky and the stars and something much more fantastic.  [E.g. pulling back the curtain in The Wizard of Oz.]  That something is in fact connected to what we are, our potential existence, our real power.

The denial and corruption of those secrets has placed us all in a shadow play run by the puppet masters, who are the ones most dedicated to denying the search for what we are.

The truth begins to dawn when we are in the most trouble.  "

[smilie=XXsmoker.gif]...for you julianj

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Ayoob_Reloaded', 'L')adies, ladies! If you're nice, maybe Santa will bring you both that Y chromosome you both wanted for Christmas this year.

"Ladies, Ladies"--in screeching falsetto...Talk about a frustrated wish for y chromosomes.

"Perhaps this is the problem with Ayoob Reloaded", Rhinestones puzzles, brow furrowed and running her hand through the thick brown hair--covering her chin. "It's all here in this online article in the Guardian".

She tilts back in her chair, belches loudly and screams at her husband to bring her another beer. He does the hundred yard dash in stilleto heels to the kitchen, and meekly returns with the choice brew of lumberjacks throughout Lower Alabama. "Thanks, Sweetheart" Rhinestones says, "Now go get something pretty on, and rustle me up some grub, I have a heavy day of sarcasm ahead and a date with Peak Oil forum destiny."

Guardian article:

Researchers have long known that high levels of substances called phthalates have gender-bending effects on male animals, making them more feminine and leading to poor sperm quality and infertility. The new study suggests that even normal levels of phthalates, which are ubiquitous, can disrupt the development of male babies' reproductive organs.
