The point is what YOU want is irrelevant. As it is, your reasoning is moulded in Sydney, Australia, by a man who owns interests all over the world and who taps into your primeval rage and senses of impotence and entitlement, to turn a fast buck, to name one element of your ideological paradigm. Were these interests tomorrow to achieve the optimal state cost cuts they seek and successfully channel the wealth of their host countries in their direction, whats the bet that the Tea Party (TP) would quickly fall from favour. The TP are essentially a gaggle of nostalgic mercantilists dancing to the tune of global capitalism whereas liberal capitalists are more amenable to the free movement of optimally costed labour, an essential pillar of optimally flowing capital. Consequently, they are more likely to assume the centre stage (having of course recanted their beliefs in Keynesianism, which they will most definitely.), once the mercantilists have helped whittle away the state, which they will, guaranteed. Your dreams for brutal cuts to the US are about to be realised, cog, but not quite the way you anticipate. And strangely enough, your ilk will make the most enhusiastic Marxists when the light finally turns on in your heads. So I sit back and bemusedly watch events unfold.

I think his point is that you have gone to an Australian billionaire for your American political education. Quite understandable in a globalised world I think. It's just I find it bizarre that American conservatives patriot types take their political cues from a business owned by an Australian billionaire who backed Tony Blair's Labour party in the UK, once upon a time, and had one of his British papers singing the virtues of the Labour party (not dissimilar to the Democrats) and its ways, back then. It's all very confusing to say the least. Sometimes I am not quite sure who is in bed with whom. You kinda get a sore head with all the switching going on
