Unfortunately, a lot of good threads were killed way back when with all the merges. There were some interesting PO forecasts by a group out of Kuwait and one from SA opining that PO would occur about 2014-2015. That's just from memory. I don't have the patience to dig those up either.

If you want low oil prices, then please stop making conflicts in the middle east..

And dont america have its own untapped oil reserves?

From Staniford at Early Warning:
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'T')he OPEC report of Friday gave us a first glimpse of Saudi production stats for February. According to the data, production increased by about 300kbd from January. But December and January data were also revised up, so the data (see above) now show a pretty noticeable increase of about 0.5mbd over the last few months. The IEA will release their version of this in a couple of weeks, so we will get confirmation then. And obviously, March will make clear both the degree of loss of Libyan production, and the extent of any Saudi response.

He has a good chart that I can't link...
The legitimate object of government, is to do for a community of people, whatever they need to have done, but can not do, at all, or can not, so well do, for themselves -- in their separate, and individual capacities.
-- Abraham Lincoln, Fragment on Government (July 1, 1854)

Up from what? Doesn't look like the Saudi's are up from anything according to your chart.

It's not too hard to read the article title: Up 450kbd in June. From May, of course.

If SA has really raised that much in production, why is the price of oil hovering around $97/bbl WTI and $116.85 Brent? You would think a vast increase in supply would drop the price of oil dramatically.

As everyone should know by now, supply and demand explain only part of the price of a commodity.

So you attribute the rise of oil prices to the dollar weakening? The dollar is actually stronger now that it was in 2008 when oil was $147/bbl. How do you explain that?

You answered your own question.

Hint: Oil is not anywhere near $147/bbl right now.

I don't think OF2 understands net exports as opposed to production. Please don't disturb him with that sort of information pstarr.

I have a sneaking suspicion Saudi internal consumption didn't jump 450kbd in June.

I also have a sneaking suspicion Saudi internal consumption hasn't risen 1 million bpd so far this year, which is about how much their production has risen.

It's kind of funny. The rig count climbs to historic highs but production does not follow suit

Look at the chart: Their rig count did not rise to historic highs.
