Recurring Themes

http://www.peakoil.com/gate.html?name=F ... ile=search

As in most forums, topics tend to recycle themselves as new folks begin the journey of exploring these issues.

We encourage everyone to seek the answers themselves, and to question everything. And we also encourage everyone to begin this quest for knowledge using the link above. You will find that almost every PO related topic of importance has been discussed here at length.

So when you see abiotic oil, or fueled cells, or Fusion Power, or... whatever, please use our search function and see what has already been explored before forming an opinion.

We always have posters who refuse this simple exercise, and post topics already covered in detail, in a google-fueled effort to seem bright...

And I think you know who I mean...

On a related note... if you have decided that PO is a nonevent, or that PO.com has become a useless spam haven, I personally encourage you to go elsewhere.
The problem is, of course, that not only is economics bankrupt, but it has always been nothing more than politics in disguise... economics is a form of brain damage.

Thanks for the link.
I'm confused to your last statement. It's not very helpful Aaron

are you saying that peakoil.com is ONLY for people who 'believe' in peak oil?
I do myself but you must understand that there are probably hundreds of browsers who are yet to be convinced or others that are on the edge of deciding to powerdown and look to PO.C for guidance/assurance/details etc

And I've read all the books -Heinberg, Kunstler et al and Sivenar and what I hear from them is that the more that wake up and are convinced of peak oil ASAP then the better the transition for us _ALL, yet here I hear sod off unless you are already 'converted'!

If PO.C has a service it's to help those that come thro the door. Isn't it?

Of course... PO.com is a gateway for understanding depletion issues.

Site policy is to welcome everyone... according to the forum policy.

That's why I said, for me personally, I encourage dissenters to go elsewhere.

PO policy accepts even the most far-fetched postings.

I do not. (& said so)

That means we won't be deleting posts no matter how small minded, despite my personal feelings on the matter.
