Just having a quick pint in the pub and the guy next to me says that there are reports of a bunch of people putting down their pests cause they won't be around to take care of them.

No clue if true or widespread.

Class III Message - $799.99
Our flagship model. Your message of up to 3,000 characters is hand-scribed on medieval style parchment sheets, and then rolled and wrapped with a fine Italian ribbon. The Class III message is delivered immediately after the Rapture, so expect delivery in as little as one day, depending on the transportation options available to those rejected from the Kingdom of God.

3/4 time here in Australia, six hours to go  It's been a nerve wracking time though, I must have drunk a hundred cups of tea and I've nearly finished eating a packet of buttered pyx's and matzo bread; sitting here on my balcony watching the countless kangaroos nonchalantly hopping past and kookaburra's laughing their heads off, bit like a lizard loosing its tail I suppose. Anyhow, there have been no rumblings heralding any cataclysmic events or event that may herald any five month incident in our part of the world so maybe the rapture warning is only meant for folk east of the Date Line. 8O Figure I'll go get stuck into a stubbie of xxxx beer or three for the final 1/4

Apocalypse is close, but it will happen just when we'll think about something else. Pinpoint a date is pointless and has little chance to succeed. We could as well announce apocalypse every day since each passing day bring us bad and more bad news.

Actually, there are more signs of the coming apocalypse by looking in the past than in the future. Look how fast and bad our civilisation has gone since the beginning of last decade. In 10 years, climate change accelerated, oil became expensive, world economy crashed and revolution are spouting around the globe. This trends is getting faster and I smell we are close from total collapse.

Jesus Rejects New Zealand, Australia
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'N')ew Zealand, which was scheduled to be among the first to meet the apocalypse according to a US fundamentalist preacher Harold Camping , has this morning confirmed they were still in existence, as the appointed time to meet the Lord came and went in their time zone…. and… Jesus was a no show.

The Eighty-nine-year-old tele-evangelist had prophesied that the “Rapture” would begin with powerful earthquakes at 6pm in each of the world’s regions, after which the faithful would be beamed up to heaven, so one can only assumed that the entire country of New Zealand has been labeled as un-worthy of salvation.

Likewise, there were also unconfirmed reports coming out of Australia, that Jesus was a no-show there as well, and that continent has, thus far, had no reports of the dead rising from the grave, nor of the living ascending into the clouds to meet Jesus Christ… but on the plus side, there are also no reports of earthquakes or fiery rain either.

Nevertheless, stay tuned Lez Get Real and we will keep you updated on Armaggedon throughout the day.

Geez, I've read reports of people quitting their jobs, selling their homes and spending all of their savings in preparation for...the end of their earthly lives. I'd hate to be them tomorrow.

I am sure I won't get ruptured today, but it is my sincere hope that those who wish to be ruptured are able to avail themselves of the experience. The time of rupture will be around 8PM in Missouri here so I guess I will go out and watch all of them ruptured folks holding their guts and beating their little wings like June Bugs that escaped a bug light and are now going towards the big bug light in the sky.

I love this answer especially since I think a bit like that :)
My job is so full of stress that I wish a quick collapse of the system. Seems weird but I see I'm not alone to wait for a crash : business as usual is getting painfull for Joe Sixpack ; people are getting mad by trying to accept harder and harder rules from bosses.

Minus one, the BBC confirms that Camping has been raptured.
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'U')S media reported that there has been no sign of Mr Camping since the prediction turned out to be false, while calls and e-mails to Mr Camping's Family Radio went unanswered on Saturday.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'W')hen the world didn't end on May 21, many people who had given up their earthly possessions were left with nothing.

But one believer never lived to see the day. She left nearly her entire estate -- around $300,000 -- to the group behind the failed prediction, leaving some family members out in the cold.

Eileen Heuwetter was shocked to find out that her aunt left the majority of her estate to Family Radio, the group responsible for the doomsday warnings that the world would end on May 21. She and her sister were each left $25,000 from their aunt's estate. The rest is going to Family Radio.
