$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Ferretlover', 'B')ut, how do we get people to put such ideas into practice?
You put really sizeable directly redistributed taxes "à la Hansen" on fossile fuel, and starting with gas in the US, that's really the only and best way to favor efficiency CAPEX spending in order to decrease OPEX fuels throughout the infrastructure, and to influence choice in product buying.
Especially valid in the US considering the starting point, and potential gains. Clearly considering US starting point and energy figures, it's much easier to produce negawatt/h than to add "clean" KW/h to replace/complement existing ones
Obama discourse should have been on that, plus it's clear it would create more jobs than windmills subsadized by feed in tarrif
And this has to be done with a major shift in communication between AGW towards PO
And I am not an AGW denier at all
But it is now totally obvious that if let's imagine the CO2 aspect were not there, we would have managed PO much better !! (and even for the CO2 apsects added afterwards of course)
