Animals don't have nuclear weapons that can wipe out the planet.

Also, invoking the nature card is really nothing but striking an amoral Hobbesian race-to-the-bottom stance. That's the world you'd like to see?

Who is in control of US , Israeli or Pakistani nuclear weapons then ? Super-computers/robots? Fungi? Aliens?

That's my point. We have dangerous weapons and we exercise restraint. We don't just think "hey, animals fight so let's nuke China". The same should be true of a fist or a knife.

Dangerous animals, such as wolves, actually show great restraint and ability to clearly communicate with each other. Because they are lethal, they avoid real conflict as much as possible. There are historical examples of humans even in a "state of nature" doing this - example the Plains Indians who instead of killing each other to determine territorial boundaries engaged in semi-mock battles in which merely hitting the opponent counted as a "score" ("counting coup"). Not to say this was injury-free, far from it. But deaths were reduced and boundaries were established.

Surely we can do at least as well as the Indians, huh?

Yes but Indians enforced their territories by punishing trespassers with wildly extravagant forms of torture.

Back to the original issue.
So Sheriff Dupnik knows the representative had someone break in her office recently, knew that nutjob had been stalking said congresswoman, yet had noone at the event in his territory, what an utter failure.
Fuller, one of the persons shot in the knee, a self proclaimed lefty issues threats agains folks "you're dead" out loud at an event.
Poll shows only 9% believe this was a political shooting, the spin on the left was a complete failure. America sees that the failing left goes absolutely raving batsh%% crazy. (for examples see above posts) Do you want these people as your leaders, we think not.
Obama, the FUBAR presidency gets scraped off the boot

Its not the world I'd LIKE to see. Its the world I'm GOING to see.

I wonder what the Vegas odds would be on an appearance by Toecutter vs an appearance by a Zephram Cochrane?
An ideology is by definition not a search for TRUTH-but a search for PROOF that its point of view is right

There was a case where a railroad worker had a steel rod run through the bottom of his jaw and out the top of his head with no apparent impairment.

The brain is still a mysterious organ. Sometimes the slightest injury causes profound impairment, while at other times, gross injury has little effect.
"For my part, whatever anguish of spirit it may cost, I am willing to know the whole truth; to know the worst and provide for it." - Patrick Henry

The level of injustice and wrong you endure is directly determined by how much you quietly submit to. Even to the point of extinction.

I was glad to see her there to garner some needed Dem votes. Very heroic.
