$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('baldwincng', 'T')here is a long time to go before natural gas peak day, probably around 20 years more than oil. Many countries only starting to look for it now.
In addition, its a renewable fuel, being made as waste decomposes, and it is being produced from coal in China. So thats the answer, run all vehicles on clean, efficient natural gas. Certainly the Iranians aim to do that by 2020 and CNG is taking off big time in Germany.
Running vehicles on hydrogen made from natural gas is do-lally and a waste of valuable energy.
Why don't they just call natural gas, methane??
My stepdad and his friends used to go down to swampy areas in Indiana and throw matches at exploding swamp bubbles.
That shit really lit up.
Then there's the good 'ole efficiency argument about why man-made gas like pressurized methane wouldn't work.
Take's some work to compress the smell of shit, but as long as things are eating and dying, there's going to be plenty of this around.
