$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Keith_McClary', '
')If the US retroactively cancels the oil industry exemption, who will ever build a nuke power station in the US?
In coming years (5-30 years timespan) overwhelming majority of corporations will get bankrupt.
So they don't care.
They can either do nothing and get bankrupt faster or build leaky oil wells, collapsing bridges or popping up nuclear reactors and get bankrupt a bit later as a result of lawsuits.
The second option allows them to exist a little bit longer, so they will go for it.
And they have no resources to carry on work in proper fashion, with sound engineering practice and with use of first choice raw materials.
They are also lacking capital for carrying out decommissioning tasks, so infrastructure built will have to collapse by natural course of events.
The era of abundance is already gone for good.
You must understand that a backbone of industrial civilization is already broken.
Now it is time to go bankrupt.
