$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Rembrandt', '

I don't think there's a cosmic judge, so I must as qualified as anyone to take a shot at your challenge 8)

The meaning of life, universe and everything is self-realisation (nifty word, isn't it?). So it would make kind of sense to try to stay around as part of that self-realisation? Thus my answer will be:

It is right to try not to die out. Result don't matter, it's the effort that matters.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('superhamzah', '
')This is a very simple concept and i'm probably stating the obvious. But sometimes the obvious seems to be forgotten, and people start having crazy ideas. But materialistic progress is just that, the more material you have and the more greedy you are, the more you make personal progress.

We have also other needs than material needs, and thus also other definitions for personal progress than being more greedy. See Maslow's hierarchy of needs:

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('jato', 'H')ow does this effect how we think about Peak Oil?

A Peak Oil Pessimist says half the oil is depleted.

A Peak Oil Optimist says half the oil is still in the ground.

Sorry, couldn't resist.
