Peak Tempers

I won't point the finger - you all know who you are but seriously, I have detected a hard edge to more and more of the posters on the site. Understandable really as we see the wheels come off the wagon.

Peoples fuses are getting very short. I also notice that newbies are often hit by a torrent of put downs (I myself am guilty of this) when they start posting. I suppose this is down to newbies not taking the time out to peruse the required reading before posting first.

I hope I am not one of them.

Although I have been thinking about populating my ignore list.

So far I have kept it limited to a tiny handful of obvious nutjobs and the odd spammer, but I am really close to pushing the button a few times to filter out some of the noise.

We've added quite a few moderators and tightened things up a bit. Imagine the noise level had we not done so.
Stop filling dumpsters, as much as you possibly can, and everything will get better.

Just think it through.
It's not hard to do.
