Good finds everyone! I think we are coming closer to the sunny heart of this conspiracy.

As for your picture Penultimate, it reminds me an awful lot of this one:

And if we mention Iran and the middle east, I know it's a taboo to say this, but who is the biggest producer of oranges in the middle east? Israel! I think once again we can blame the JUICE!

Free,

Israel you say...

EZIKIEL 36:8 But ye, O mountains of Israel, ye shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your FRUIT to my people of Israel; for they are at hand to come.

Did Amos have a vision of Peak Orange?

AMOS 8:2-And he said, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A basket of summer FRUIT Then said the LORD unto me, The end is come upon my people of Israel; I will not again pass by them any more.

I wonder if the Peak Orangewill signify the End Times?

Good catch! Maybe we should check the bible code (you know the number conversions) for references? Or what about that ominous PI-site somebody posted here a short while ago?

I really don't know, but one thing I know for sure - it will be a lot easier now for the Anti-POers to label us as fruit cakes....

Oh it does matter, and how it does! I vividly remember all this talk about cannibalism, so I definitely don't want to be seen as a fruit cake post Peak Orange!

We have a running joke in the Restaraunt about cannibalism. It involves Spanish and the phrase "chupa verga". The joke is that the cannibals will "chompa verga".

I was at a Dave Chappelle show a week ago and he was mentioning the 'chupa cabra' ('goat sucker') that apparently is notorious in MX. Stuff of legends.

I don't know about you all, but I like Latinos and Latinas. When I was a lad in high school, a Latina girl gave me what I most needed. I chased Anglo girls, but they were too worried or something.

Yeah, many are smoking hott. Weird, though, as there are some dogshit-ugly ones too, but not so many latties in the middle (compared with like 70% of white chicks in the middle).

I knew a Mexican cook who bragged to me that within two weeks of his coming to America, he had an American girlfriend, even though he couldn't speak English. Very charming and thoughly obnoxious guy. A paradox. The closest parallel to Picasso I've met. He confessed to me once that he is full of stress. An alchoholic. The whole point of his life is to seduce despised women and then dump them.

Sounds like a Lifetime movie waiting to happen. I admire his tenacity and his penchant for putting up with the constant BS that vitriolic women love to dish. At some point, IMO, a piece of ass is just not worth it.

He knocked up a Guamanian waitress, and then did little to help her, a little bit of money, but that was it. Everybody despises him, but he gets laid, and that's what counts. The curious thing is, the drunks at the bar next door loved him, even though he called them all 'losers'. Women are attracted to guys like this.

About one quarter of Israel's water supply (to "make the desert bloom") come from rainfall. The remainder comes in approximately equal parts from Lebanon, Syria and the west bank. They have appropriated these water resources to themselves by the same means that they have acquired the real estate (guns & bombs). OK, it's taboo to say this also.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('PalatineCreator', 'T')he world is running out of oranges. Whereas in 1892, roughly 3/5 of 1% of arable land was devoted to orange production, today it is under 1/100th of 1% and falling. Orange juice is up to $4 a gallon, higher in many places. Meanwhile, a new and rapacious demand for the fruit has risen in rapidly westernizing China. Something has to give. Whereas yesterday it was "not just for breakfast anymore," tomorrow it may not be available for breakfast at all.
Don't worry, since theOrange Revolution in the Ukraine we will have plentiful reserves.

Florida orange industry in jeopardy of disappearing. A feature segment was also aired on national NBC Nightly News.

http://www.nbcnews.com/nightly-news/flo ... ops-n88061

Add one more item to food scarcity.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', '[')b]A citrus disease is putting the squeeze on orange crops.

The gnat-sized Asian citrus psyllid is spreading a disease that has devastated Florida's orange crop, which is expected to be the worst in nearly 30 years and sent juice prices soaring.

The insect is infecting citrus trees across the sunshine state with citrus greening disease which causes fruit to taste bitter and fall from trees too soon.

Citrus greening disease has become such a problem this year that the U.S. government has lowered its forecast for the upcoming harvest four times.

The latest figures, published earlier this month by the U.S. Department of agriculture, predict production of 110-million boxes of fruit, or roughly 4.95-million tons. That is 18-percent less than last year, and the lowest since 1985.
