Paradise lost

The founder of North Face which makes overpriced outdoor sports wear is seeing his eco heaven being destroyed by a Volcano.

Volcano destroying reserve

I remember reading an article about this guy creating this eco wonderland with all his millions. Is it wrong that I am rooting for the Volcano?

Nature is like that. Man plans, god laughs. I think it will make their park much more interesting. I read about the park, but his volcano will get a lot more people thinking about it. I think that nature is pretty resilient. The new forest will start growing a couple of years from now, and it will be fine.

I think what they are doing is fine. There is a woman trying to do the same thing here in Maine, and everybody has decided that she has no right to keep snowmobiles off of her land. I'm sorry, but I side with her. It's her land, and she doesn't want them.

What people don't realize is that a national park is great for the economy. Ask anyone who lives near Acadia. Preserve some land, and have something like a vocano go off. It will draw people like moths to a flame, and they will need a bunch of North Face gear to hike there!
Deep in the mud and slime of things, even there, something sings.
