US buys millions of tons gasoline here in Rotterdamm

Since the media are totally hiding the news of shortage from the US, people here is not hoarding neither worrying about gas.
Anyway, in Italy we are at about $5,70 per gallon (euro 1,30 per liter).

It's stable for many months here, about 1€/litre.
We won't be affected by this much. It will have little effect on global oil demand, supplies will be disrupted only in USA (consuming 50% of world production of gasoline).
Europe takes oil from north sea, middle east and russi, non of these areas have supply disruption and rafineries are here.

Heard from a trucker Topeka was out of diesel but re-suplied by truck from Kansas City.

Hmm, It seems that I was wrong, prices are rising here, pump price of gasoline is up by 10%. Diesel stays same. Explanation is, that due to closure of rafineries in gulf of Mexico, there is now lack of gasoline on world markets and this drives prices up.
