pstarr - "Thou shall not kill . . . members of ones tribe." That philosophy doesn't seem to be holding very well in Detroit. Worked even worse in the Menendez family. LOL.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('ROCKMAN', 'M')orality = opinion. Morals are just like assholes: everyone has 'em. LOL. As I've aged I came to understand that judgements based upon what is "moral" is nothing more the someone agreeing with your opinion. Just as immoral simply means they don't agree with you.

And if you disagree then you're just one more immoral ass. LOL.

Good point.

OK, so I have a question, and this is a SERIOUS question, not semantics games.

Does the same apply for 'fairness'?

(I think it does. I see 'fairness' frequently discussed in terms of political issues (usually I notice it coming from the left, but maybe I'm biased), in such a way as implying that "fairness" (in the eyes of the party demanding it) is required for morality, and is a "right").

I see that as you describe morality -- just an opinion. And thus having no rational place in what should be an objective argument about things like tax policy.
Given the track record of the perma-doomer blogs, I wouldn't bet a fast crash doomer's money on their predictions.
