I was introduced to this: http://www.waronterrortheboardgame.com at the weekend.

It was a real hit with everyone - one particularly memorable moment reduced one of our party to literal tears of laughter.

But it's also a very interesting game in making some important political points. The game's website says it's "all about oil" and sure enough in the game, we all ended up fighting over control of this finite resource: oil.

As the game went on, oil became more scarce (through conflict etc.) and this only served to intensify conflict. I found it fascinating, funny and thought-provoking and definitely recommend it.

Anyone here have any experience of this or any other PO-related board games?

I'd definitely try it, as I'm a big board game fan.
