This is the E-prove that diesel shortage happened in Malaysia especially in East Malaysia states of Sarawak and Sabah. Here our government cannot endures the subsidies anymore and try to cut the subsidies by reducing diesel supply by 50 percent throughout the whole nation. As a result, no more public transportation for me , back to car. :?

As usual our politicians here are as bright as President Bush of United States of Latino. Hope one of those bright Latino can become president in the future. Currently I am learning Spanish. Ola, amigo :P

Large (13' diameter) haul truck and loader tire shortage in mining. Attributed to global economy boom and a large number of reopening mines and upstarts which, is probably true. The limiting factor is probably the number of presses large enough to make these tires rather than raw materials but if the problem persists the mines might have to start putting those 2 million dollar machines on blocks. Great big cinder blocks 8O .
You observed it from the start
Now you’re a million miles apart
As we bleed another nation
So you can watch you favorite station
Now you eyes pop out your sockets
Dirty hands and empty pockets
Who? You!

I know when I tried to place an order for radios/electronics for our stores, the sales rep said most of the items were on backorder until further notice due to a plastics/labor shortage in China.. that count? 8) 8)

No power shortage here either - yet - but we did receive notice that our kw/h charge is going up starting in April - and our base fee (just for having a meter, even if you use no electricity) is going from $8 and some change to $14 and some change at the same time.

Little steps....

The natural gas component of our utility bill has doubled, likewise for all my friends. This is the South-eastern US. Interestingly enough, the utility bill for my sister and family in Northern England, has also gone way up. I'm assuming that a price-rise (since it is highly unpopular!) would not be undertaken lightly, and therefore most probably indicates at least a temporary shortage.

H'm....

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'I') think the same is true for pecans,

We had a very good year for pecans here in Texas, at least the wild ones. They were on the ground waiting to be picked up, so I did.
