I was thinking, if the U.S has enemies in foreign countries, and if the enemies are dictators, why overthrow/assasinate them?

Instead, why don't we just mind control them? If we mind control them, then they will do what we want, but it will appear from a political standpoint that we have done nothing.

It will simply appear to be that the dictator of that other country, had changed his mind, and thus decided to agree with the United States, and do what we want.
