Jack Daniels' spring is running dry...

It is vaguely conceivable that there may be a whiskey from Northern Ireland that might call itself Irish Scotch but I couldn't find one.

Top Irish whiskeys are;

Jameson
Bushmills
Lockes
Powers
Paddys
Tulamore Dew
Midleton very rare (about $150 a bottle and nice but not as nice as Jameson which should cost about $40).

After Jameson, I would actually prefer Scotch Whiskeys to Irish but Jameson is the best.

My favourite whiskeys
Jameson (Irish)
Dalwhinnie (Scotch)
Midelton (Irish)
Glenlivet (Scotch)
Glenmorangie (Scotch)
Johnny Walker (Scotch)
Jack Daniels (US)
Wild Turkey (US)
Southern Comfort (US)
Canadian Club

I don't think there's anything special about jack daniels water. All they do is mix 50% ethanol with 50% water and leave the mixture in oak barrels for some time and then bottle. I doubt you could taste the difference between Jack made with spring water and Jack made with tap water.
