The Cultural Responsibility Act-

This law would effectively increase the sentences for widely known public celebrities, as their bad behavior, misconduct, and criminal actions may have a detrimental negative cultural impact which could lead to imitation, cultural degradation, and misbehavior in impressionable developing minds across the nation.

This is in response to the growing concern over the bad behavior of young celebrities and the poor role models they are setting for our youth.

As long as bad behavior is encouraged by rampant media coverage and publicity, the bad behavior will continue and will continue to expand.

This way any criminal actions taken by a well known celebrity would exasterbate their potential sentence, thereby providing an incentive not to commit crimes for publicity stunts, and compensating for the rewarded carreer boost provided by the media coverage.

All penalties for breaking this law should be applied not to the violators but to the media outlets who cover our society's attention whores. Larry King, the staff of People magazine, etc. will be among the first rounded up.
